This 36" Industrial Grade, Center Cut Cutter 0390MC is designed and engineered in the USA with global materials. It features precision ground, drop-forged alloy steel jaws, with center-cut blades that can cut materials up to Brinell 455 or Rockwell C48 hardness. The toggle joints turn 50 lbs of hand pressure into 4000 lbs of cutting pressure, making it a reliable tool for cutting soft and medium materials up to 9/16 in thick or hard materials up to 7/16 in. The screw-type adjustment realigns edges and the lock plate keeps the jaws from loosening, ensuring precise cutting every time. With steel handles and rubber grips, this cutter offers a comfortable and secure grip for optimal control. Please note: NEVER use any H.K. Porter cutters on energized circuits, wire, or cable.
