The toggle joints turn 50 lbs of hand pressure into 4000 lbs of cutting pressure, making it a reliable tool for cutting soft and medium materials up to 9/16 in thick or hard materials up to 7/16 in. The screw-type adjustment realigns edges and the lock plate keeps the jaws from loosening, ensuring precise cutting every time.
